Friday was my grandma’s 84th Birthday, but I wasn’t able to come out and celebrate with her until today~ Somehow, we got talking about photos and how different my mom looks (she’s lost 70 lbs!), and Mammaw decided she wanted updated photos of everyone. So, I put on my photographer’s cap and went to work.
We took photos of everyone—Mom, Mammaw, and even me—but this one is my favorite by far~ <3 It’s a candid. Mammaw had requested that I take a picture of her and her boyfriend, Bill, so they sat on the couch and were trying to pose. He had made a face that had sent everyone into laughter, and they randomly turned towards one another, laughing. It was the perfect answer to my wish to get one of them looking at one another <3
Of course, I immediately printed this photo and will frame it as soon as I get home~ <3 <3 <3

A Heart’s Desire
I saw this on Facebook and had to share. It sums up everything I feel regarding my ex girlfriend. She and I are still in love, still want to be together…and yet, these are the thoughts that prattle along in my mind and heart.
There are things holding us back from one another, things that are not easily pushed aside or overcome. But regardless of our insecurities, current situations or ties, we both have hope that oneday, someday, we will be together again. For allways <3
